Joan and Nick Olson are the owners and farmers at Prairie Drifter Farm, a diversified, organic vegetable farm serving the communities of Dassel, Litchfield, and St. Cloud, Minnesota through a Community Supported Agriculture (CSA) operation. During the field day, attendees will tour the farm and gain hands-on insights into how Joan's and Nick's value based decision making is a key part to their farm's risk management strategy. "Our journey as farmers has broadened our desire to raise food in environmentally sound ways while promoting social justice and being part of a thriving community that values the land and people."
