About the event
There is a new program through the United Stated Department of Agriculture's Farm Service Agency (FSA) through which any farmer growing specialty crops in 2025 is eligible for funding to help get these crops to market. The announcement of this opportunity came out just last week, and the application period closes by the end of day on January 8, 2025. We want to get the word out to everyone we can - so Go Farm Connect will be hosting this webinar to explain the program. The host of the webinar will be Go Farm Connect's Farm Business Management Specialist Erik Heimark. He'll be joined by representatives from USDA to answer questions. Erik and other Connectors will be available in the next few weeks to assist growers in getting the paperwork done to apply for this program.
The new program is called Marketing Assistance for Specialty Crops (MASC).
