MASC Work Session: USDA Office Visit in St. Paul to Complete the Marketing Assistance for Specialty Crops Application

This free session at the USDA's St. Paul Farm Services Center is to help all growers complete the paperwork to apply for the MASC program payment for 2025 crops. Experienced farmers, USDA staff, and language interpretation specialists will all be on hand to help.

Calling all Specialty Crop Growers!
Do you grow vegetables, flowers, mushrooms, or any other specialty or niche crop for market? There is a rare opportunity being offered through the USDA to get some financial support for these efforts in 2025, but the application to do so ends January 8. This work session at the USDA office in St. Paul is to help farmers quickly get those applications completed. In-person language interpretation is available in Spanish, Hmong, Somali, French, Swahili, and Arabic. If you have other language needs, we can use digital translation.
The event is being hosted by farmer Erik Heimark, from Maple Ridge Produce, who is Go Farm Connect's Farm Business Management Specialist. He will be joined by other experienced farmers, language interpretation specialist, USDA staff, and the Farm Service Agency's (FSA) Brandon Dahl, County Executive Director for Dakota, Scott, and Washington County offices.
