About the event
Go Farm Connect (GFC) is hosting a FREE field day at Loon Organics in Hutchinson, MN for farmers to learn about the infrastructure and site development needs/resources to have a successful small-scale produce and/or livestock operations. We will be specifically talking about FSA direct farm ownership loans, FSA microloans, FSA farm storage facility loans, and NRCS EQIP high tunnel funding. Food will be provided!
Who is the primary target audience for this event? (all Go Farm Connect events are open to everyone.)
Beginning farmers who are leasing and thinking about buying land. Farmers that have applied for the MDA down payment assistance grant. Folks who are interested in starting a farm business and in local food production.
