About the event
Farming land away from home can make it challenging to start seeds, wash and pack produce, and store crops without spending even more time on the road. Come see how farmer Mondester has created a practical home-based hub - with a greenhouse, pack shed, and walk-in cooler in her suburban backyard - to make farming off-site more efficient, manageable, and sustainable.
This field day will be led by Nura Ahmed, RTC Farm Business Management Specialist, and Mondester Mobisa.
Light food and drinks (including Nura's famous chai) will be provided.
